Communities served: Our program is open to everyone, and we welcome all who are interested in applying. We give priority to low-income Latino individuals who are pursuing higher education or who are working with our business developers to start or expand a business. We primarily serve residents of Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington, Marion and Yamhill counties.
Eligibility Criteria: See “Am I Eligible?” for general eligibility requirements. Individuals are limited to two IDAs in their lifetime within the CASA network.
Application process: The first step is to set up a meeting with one of our staff members, who will be able to answer your questions, review the eligibility guidelines, and guide you through the application process. There is a $25 application fee. Because funding for the program is limited, not all interested participants may be able to join right away. After meeting with the IDA Program Manager, you will be provided with the waitlist form so we can add you to our interest list.
Average number of IDAs opened each year, in the 3 most recent years: 6-10
Maximum match per asset: $10,000
Other services provided: Small Business Guidance, Small Business Workshops
