Communities served: We serve all of Oregon however most of our clients live in Multnomah, Clackamas, or Washington counties. Our priority communities include immigrants, first-time homebuyers, low-income BIPOC households, and small businesses owned by BIPOC and Latina women.
Eligibility criteria: Applicants must first become a client and be working with a counselor. To become a client, you must: attend the Camino a Casa orientation https://www.haciendacdc.org/camino-a-casa, complete and submit your Hacienda application with required documents, pay the $75 fee, meet with a Hacienda counselor, and participate in the ABC’s of Homebuying workshop. Individuals are limited to two IDAs in their lifetime within the CASA network.
Application process: Our applicants are selected by the waitlist, and they must be a client when they are next on the waitlist. There is a $25 IDA Application Fee. We also give each client a deadline to submit application documents which is usually 2- 3 weeks.
