Application process: Once you are accepted into the Habitat Portland Region homebuyer program, we evaluate all homebuyers and their assets. We require homebuyers to save $8,000 for closing costs for our homes. We take amount in savings, length of time before home closing, and external financial help into consideration when selecting who is able to apply for our IDA program.
