Communities served: Households receiving housing assistance through Home for Good who are also enrolled in our Family Self-Sufficiency Program, residing in Lane County.
Eligibility criteria: Client must be a recipient of rental assistance through Homes for Good, with a Section 8 voucher, a Project Based voucher, or live in Public Housing through Homes for Good. Client must be enrolled in the Family Self-Sufficiency Program at Homes for Good. Individuals are limited to two IDAs in their lifetime within the CASA network.
Application process: Once a client is enrolled in the Family Self-Sufficiency Program, the next step is to work with their FSS Coordinator to identify IDA eligibility, be added to the interest/waitlist, and work on completing the prerequisites required to begin the application process. Our enrollment begins when the yearly funding becomes available (July/August). Due to the limited funding of the program, we may not be able to accommodate everyone who’s interested.
