Important Information for Donors
- The Oregon Dept. of Revenue requires that we collect donor Social Security Numbers or Employee Identification Numbers.
- There is a $500,000 limit on tax credits an individual can claim on contributions per return filed. That would be a contribution of $555,555.
- The maximum tax credit rate for check or wire transfer donation is 90%.
How to Donate
Step 1: Please complete the online Oregon IDA Tax Credit Donor Form. If you would prefer to fill out a physical Donor Form and mail it to us, you can download the form here.
Step 2: Contact your bank to find out the procedures for wiring funds from your account. Be sure to ask how quickly the transfer will occur if you are concerned about timing. In some cases, you may be able to complete the wire transfer through your financial institution’s online banking services. In other cases, you may have to go to your bank to complete the transfer.
Step 4: Here is the information you will need to provide to your bank to wire funds to the Oregon IDA Initiative/Neighborhood Partnerships Brokerage Account:

We must receive wired fund transfers into our account by December 31, 2022 or before available tax credits are sold out for the year, whichever comes first. Because this process changes based on your financial institution, we encourage donors to purchase credits with ample time before credits sell out.
